The Kontos-class Frigate is a picket-line frigate and support ship used by the Empire of the Hand and the Chiss Ascendancy. It was designed in a collaboration between engineers from Kuat Drive Yards and Mitth Defense Systems for use by the Empire of the Hand. By 29 ABY, the Kontos was adopted by the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet to replace the aging Fruoro-class frigate.
